AmaZulu Make It Three Straight, Nick Polokwane City to Pull Level With Pirates
AmaZulu just keep winning. Saturday brought a third league victory in a row, a 1-0 job away at Polokwane City, and it’s carried Usuthu right into the mix at the top of the Betway Premiership. The win, at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on 19 September 2026, put them on 16 points from seven games, level with Orlando Pirates in second.
The goal
Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya got it, and he didn’t hang about either. The Zimbabwean struck early, rising to head home from a set-piece after Nkosikhona Radebe floated the ball in, per the PSL. That was the lot. One goal, three points.

Those three points nudge AmaZulu up to 16 from seven, third on the table and dead level with Pirates above them. Polokwane City, on the other hand, are left stuck on seven points from their seven games, down in eighth.
